Q: What is the formula to figure out yards?
A: (Length x Width x Depth) ÷ 27 =No. of yards needed
Your length and width will most likely be measured in feet, so make sure to convert your depth into feet as well. For example, 3 inches is .25 feet (3/12), 4 inches is .3334 feet (4/12), and 6 inches is .5 feet (6/12).
Q: How do I know how much soil/mulch I need?
A: New mulch application should figure 3 inches of mulch. When refreshing existing mulch beds, figure 1 to 2
inches of mulch. After a good base, new soil application should figure 3 to 4 inches of soil. Topdressing an
existing lawn requires 1 to 2 inches of soil. Follow the above formula with the
recommended depth of product to calculate your needs.
Q: Is there a minimum for picking up products?
A: There is a 1 yard minimum. If you do not need the full yard, you will still be required to pay the 1 yard price.
Q: Is there a minimum for delivery?
A: There is a 1 yard minimum. Please speak with an associate for pricing.
Q: Where will you drop the product on delivery?
A: Certified Products prefers to deliver on a hard serface. We will, however, deliver almost anywhere the
customer wants the product placed. Our driver will assess the placement of the product. If he determines that the area is not safe or feasible, he will inform the customer. In the event the customer insists on the placement, the customer will be expected to sign a waiver releasing Certified Products from any responsibility for damage or such during placement. If the customer refuses to sign the waiver, the product will either be placed on a hard
serface or the delivery will not be completed.
Q: Will you delivery onto a new driveway?
A: We will not drive on any driveway that is newer than 1 year old. |
